Xander Harris knows well.
Oh, poor Willow.
Whedon character archetype #1: the humorous male pacifist.
Never calm in times of trouble, but always a good ear when others have trouble within them. This character serves as the comic relief in many aspects, though deep down he is beloved by his friends as the heart of the group. He can seem useless in times of battle, but on other occasions he can be the surprise ace in the group’s sleeve. Though his neck will have to be saved numerous times by the physically stronger members of the group, he is always worth saving. Always uses an unusual nickname. He is occasionally stomped on by others for his nonthreatening demeanor.

Ben is Glory.
This is the greatest fight in the history of Buffy, ever.
Xander is my spirit animal.
The Zeppo. It’s one of my favorite Buffy episodes ever. I love Xander.
There is nothing better than drunk Giles. Teenaged Giles is a close second.
